Serving Our Community
Since its inception Consett Lions Club has been engaged in many FUNdraising events and in many activities directly connected with service to the community in our locality and this continues to be our major object.
Consett Lions Club is active and proactive in the community. We have a busy fundraising and social programme.
Lions' aid - First-Aiders

Consett Lions' President (2002-03) George Dawson, presents a special purpose stretcher to Consett St. John Ambulance Division Superintendent Clive Pratt. Consett Lions have worked closely with the St. John Ambulance in the past on various activities including Diabetes screening. This gift is the latest example of the Club's practical help towards the First-Aiders' care of the community in N.W. Durham.
