District 105NE Convention
Each year Clubs within each Lions District meet to discuss the important topics of the day relating to Lions Clubs International and how they effect the future of Lionism regards to their own Clubs and District. These gatherings are known internationally as "Conventions" or as we in the UK would say a "Conference".
It is really an opportunity for renewing acquaintances, meeting old and new friends and generally having an all round 'FUN' occasion with some business thrown in for good measure. If you haven't been to a Convention or Conference, then make a note in your diary under November 2007.
Ryedale Lions Club ~ Convention Host Club
16th ~ 17th November 2007
To be held in the Feathers Hotel, Helmsley
The Feathers Hotel, being used for Convention venue, has a seating capacity of approximately 180, which puts a limit on the attendance. Since there are no large hotels in Ryedale, accomodation is spread around the hotels and guesthouses in the charming market town of Helmsley.
The theme for the Host Night on the Friday will be:
"The Moors are alive to the Sound of Music"
We at Ryedale Lions Club hope that as many of you as possible will come along to this beautiful area of Ryedale, where the warmest of welcomes await.

You can download the form and complete on your computer. However, you will need to print the completed form and post direct to Ryedale Lions Club along with your deposit to book your place.
