North East England and Scotland | At the heart of your Community

Over the next three years, our priority as a District is on growth. More Lions means more and better service to our communities.  Each Club should be trying to increase its membership.

The accompanying simple guides are provided to simply stimulate discussion in your Club as to the best way to go about it. (Click on the “Membership project number” below to download the booklet). The booklets try to cover the major strengths and weaknesses of different recruitment strategies.

Some Clubs have more experience than others of some aspects of growth. Other Clubs may need assistance, perhaps simply manpower, in order to undertake recruitment. In order to make this section of the members’ area of the District website “live”, we need to let other Clubs know what has been successful and why, so we can share this with others.Remember that LCI has a huge amount of support material as well (although accessing it may be a bit daunting, at first).

Dave Wilson 2VDG and myself are at the end of a phone or email if we can help.

Good luck
