"Lions Day with the UN"
Scottish Parliament - Wed. Wed. 17 March 2010

Lions from 105NE attend the Scottish Parliament to celebrate our continued special relationship between Lions and the non-governmental organisations of the United Nations (NGOs).
Lions started to hold UN day at the Scottish Parliament since 2003. We are delighted to be able to hold this event in the new Scottish Parliament which was finally opened by HM Queen Elizabeth in October 2004.
This event is made possible by the continued support of the various MSPs who have sponsored our UN day at the Scottish Parliament. We wish to record our thanks to the MSPs who have supported us since 2003.
Our event in 2010 was sponsored by Margaret Smith MSP, the Spokesman for Education and Young People in the Scottish Parliament.
It gives space for displays of LIon's Activities and enables Lions, MSPs and other guests to mix and network with each other.
We look forward to our event in 2011.
