The mission statement of the Lions Community and Cultural Activities Program is: To cultivate the human qualities and values that stimulate individual creativity, enliven the community, and animate the human spirit. LIONS CLUBS COMMUNITY AND CULTURAL ACTIVITY AWARD recognizes one club within a district that has been most active in organizing successful community cultural activities. |
NATIONAL MEMORIAL ARBORETUM – WE CAN HELP! All we are asking at this stage is for EVERY CLUB to discuss the project and email us by the end of January with a pledge for a sum of money. If each Club pledged about £75 (many will do more, some less) we would reach the target, being around £25,000.
