Glasses and hearing aids recycled
In Chemists, opticians, libraries and dentist waiting rooms all over the District you will see bins with the Lions badge on, happily filling up with old pairs of glasses and reusable hearing aids.
These are collected and sorted and then sent on to where they can be reused by people who would not be able to afford to buy them. Our Lions Club International President Lion Jimmy Ross states that six hundred million pairs of glasses will provide glasses to all who need them.
