LIONS EUROPEAN MUSICAL COMPETITION
This years instrument is the Oboe.
In order to encourage talented young musicians,
a musical prize is awarded annually on the occasion of each Lions Europa Forum.
During the Europa Forum a competition will be organised to identify the winner of the annual prize.
Each year the Europa Forum Host District selects the instrument and music,
which will be the subject of the competition.
Participants:
• Participants must be born after December 31st 1987.
• Must have been resident in Multiple District 105 for at least three yearsprior to January 1st in the year of the competition.
• Each Lions Club in a District may nominate one and only one participant.
• All costs of a participant in attending the appropriate District Competition shall be the responsibility of the Lions Club, which has entered that participant.
• No winner of any competition may participate in any future competition.
• Each participant shall be required to perform the imposed piece and a selection from the published repertoire.
